About the Role - PSV/HGV Technician (Nightshift)

Do you want to be part of our energetic team of HGV/PSVengineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? If yes, then this PSV/HGV Technicianposition at our Bristol Lawrence Hill depot could just be the job for you! It offers technical up-skilling with the potential to gain experience working on our state-of-the-art electric vehicles and plenty of career progression.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
• Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
• Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
• To fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies
• To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain and develop technical skills as required

Location: Bristol - Lawrence Hill, Easton Road, BS5 0DZ

Working Hours: 38 hours per week - 4 on 3 off - Tuesday-Friday 19:00-04:36 Saturday-Monday rest days

Pay: £21.37 per hour + 20 days A/L and paid meal breaks

About you

• A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2) - preferably in PSV or HGV vehicles
• Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment
• A valid UK driving license, aPCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential
• Right to Work in the UK
