A leading bus operator in Chelmsford is seeking a PSV/HGV Technician to join their engineering team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a fleet of buses, including new electric vehicles. Due to fleet expansion we are now looking for an additional PSV/HGV Technician to join our busy engineering team in First Bus Chelmsford.
We offer technical up‑skilling and career progression and we'll also provide all the PPE and basic tools you'll need to succeed in your role.

Location: Chelmsford
Hours: 39 hours per week, 4 days out of 7 (including weekends) on a rotating pattern of early shifts 05:00‑15:00 and late shifts 14:30‑00:30
Pay: £23.69 per hour - £48,043 per annum - weekend premium rate £24.72 and overtime readily available
We also welcome applications from ex‑Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, and experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a change.
