Job description
About Us

Our mission is to transform the way people end relationships in a kinder and better way, and to help couples avoid the emotional and financial turmoil of traditional solicitor approaches. As pioneers of working with couples, we’ve shaped the landscape of no-fault divorce and helped thousands untie the knot, amicably.

We are growing, and our innovative, tech enabled, digital approach to divorce, separation and coparenting continues to help thousands of couples separate in a better, more positive way. Our process frees people to focus on the emotional challenges while also reducing the cost to themselves and to society.

Amicable promotes a collaborative culture and is rapidly growing to meet demand and legislative change.

Our values bring our purpose to life and make what we do and how we do it unique: we are Kind to everyone we encounter, we embrace Trust & Professionalism, with a quest for Customer Focus that drives us to be more Pioneering.

We are proud to be part of the Octopus Group.

About the Role

As a Founder’s Associate, you’ll work closely with the CEO in a fast-moving scale-up environment, partnering on a wide range of high-impact, company-wide initiatives that support the company’s growth. You’ll drive execution across a constantly evolving portfolio of projects, from strategic problem-solving to operational priorities, preparing materials, supporting key meetings, and ensuring clear, effective communication across teams as the business scales.

A key initial focus of the role will be supporting the launch of new product partnerships (distinct from our commercial/ marketing partnerships function). You’ll help take these partnerships from signed agreement through to go-live, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to establish the right operating model, processes, and reporting from day one. Acting as the central coordination point, you’ll create clear, scalable foundations that enable smooth delivery, strong partner relationships, and long-term growth. You’ll apply a data-driven approach defining success metrics, tracking performance, and highlighting wins, risks, and opportunities.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and wants to make a meaningful impact across the business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Founder’s Associate you will:

  • Support the CEO on company-wide projects: monitor, progress and support the execution of company-wide projects and business initiatives. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives, monitor progress, and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct research and prepare briefing materials on relevant topics for the CEO.
  • Support the CEO and the management team in preparation for meetings and events, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Act as a cross-functional connector, helping with clear communication of project goals, scope, and timelines across teams.
  • Product partnership delivery: Build and maintain delivery plans, timelines, and clear ownership across stakeholders, flagging risks and dependencies as they arise.
  • Help design, document, and improve practical processes for partner onboarding, delivery, and ongoing partner management, including clear reporting and tracking of performance, issues, and progress.
  • Contribute to establishing repeatable, efficient ways of working with partners, supported by simple, reliable reporting, to enable smooth delivery and long-term growth.
  • Reporting & insights: Define success metrics and track progress across key projects.
  • Work closely with product, delivery, operations, and commercial teams to ensure consistent communication of updates, goals, scope, and timelines.
  • Use data and insights to highlight achievements, identify risks, and surface opportunities for improvement.
About You
  • You bring experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment, comfortable with pace, ambiguity and change.
  • You bring experience managing and coordinating diverse projects in close partnership with C-suite leaders in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong execution skills, with the ability to take initiatives from idea through to delivery.
  • You bring experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners, acting as a clear central point of ownership, keeping teams aligned on goals and timelines.
  • Ideally, you’ve launched or supported product partnerships and have understanding of the operational work required to take partnerships live.
  • You’re highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • You have a data-driven mindset and you’re able to define success metrics, track progress and highlight insights and opportunities.
  • You’re able to identify problems, suggest solutions, and help implement them, learning quickly to add value across projects.
  • You’re a clear, confident communicator, comfortable preparing materials, reports and presentations supporting senior meetings and keeping teams aligned.
Perks & Benefits
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Group Life Assurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Pension scheme (after 3 months of employment).
