Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role
Who will you be supporting?
  • Three ladies in their 60s
  • Mobility difficulties – require full assistance to mobilise
  • Full support with all personal care needs
  • Non‑verbal communication – you will need time to understand how they communicate
What is important to the people that we support?
  • Different personalities and interests, enjoy living together and going out on activities together
  • Activities include community days out, meals, cinema and shopping
  • At home they enjoy listening to music and watching TV
  • Enjoy spending time with family when they visit
  • Staff team should have varied personalities but all need to be caring and empathetic
Other important information
  • At least 2 staff on day shifts 08:00‑20:00, plus a third member of staff 3 times a week 12:00‑18:00 (flexible for activities)
  • 2 staff on night shift 20:00‑08:00
  • Staff need additional specialised training for PEG and epilepsy
  • Staff should be flexible and some may need to drive as we use a van for outings
