Job description

Reports To: Director of Customer Strategy

Team: Marketing

Location: UK-based (hybrid) with regular travel to Cardiff

Hours of Work: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Who We Are:

DragonBet is a fast-growing, independent challenger brand in the UK betting market, with a successful recent launch in Ireland and ambitious plans to expand further across regulated markets. We offer a high-quality sportsbook alongside top-tier casino games, built to compete in highly regulated and competitive environments.

Founded by second-generation bookmakers, DragonBet combines decades of real-world betting expertise with modern, digital-first execution. Licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, our approach is defined by discipline, commercial intelligence and a strong commitment to integrity and responsible gambling. We focus on building long-term customer value, not short-term wins and delivering a safe, fair and enjoyable experience for every customer.

With ambitions to expand further across regulated markets, DragonBet is strengthening its leadership team to support the next phase of development and scale toward tier-2 operator status.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Head of Organic Growth to own and build DragonBet’s long-term organic acquisition engine across SEO, content, authority, PR and organic social.

This is a senior, hands-on and high-impact role suited to an experienced organic growth leader who understands the realities of regulated markets and is motivated by long-term value creation rather than short-term traffic gains.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

You’ll own and execute DragonBet’s organic growth strategy across the UK and Ireland, leading SEO performance across sportsbook and casino including technical foundations, content architecture and authority building.

You’ll set the organic content and editorial direction across SEO, PR and organic social, shaping how organic social supports brand trust and demand without being responsible for day-to-day posting.

You’ll also build long-term authority through digital PR, partnerships and high-quality backlinks, while owning organic growth performance across branded search, rankings, organic NGR and assisted conversions.

You’ll work closely with Customer Strategy, Product, Trading, CRM, Paid Media, Affiliates and Compliance teams to ensure growth is responsible, aligned and commercially high quality.

What We\'re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in SEO and organic growth, with a genuine passion for sports and betting. Experience in online gambling is preferred but not essential
  • Proven track record of building sustainable organic growth in highly competitive search environments
  • Deep understanding of E-E-A-T, content authority and Google algorithm dynamics
  • Commercially minded and analytical, with comfort owning long-term performance outcomes
  • Pragmatic, disciplined and aligned with responsible growth principles

What We Offer:

  • A senior, high-impact role at a respected challenger brand built by second-generation bookmakers.
  • Real autonomy and influence in a founder-led, values-driven business
  • Opportunity to build a durable organic growth moat as DragonBet scales toward tier-2 operator status
  • A supportive team culture
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service

Are You Ready?

If you’re motivated by building quality, trust and sustainable growth then we’d love to hear from you.
