A health services training organization in United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Services Assistant who will engage with customers to provide prescription counter services while gaining valuable qualifications. The role offers the opportunity to learn about over-the-counter medicines and assist with dispensing prescription medicines. GCSEs in Maths and English are desired, but can be obtained through the course. The working week is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with potential weekend work. Applications are welcome from those ready to take initial assessments in Maths and English.
N3 1XP This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
