Job summary

A leading nuclear technology company in the UK is seeking an Analyst for their Core Design and Performance team. The role focuses on developing and refining neutronic and thermal-hydraulic models, performing technical assessments, and implementing advanced analysis methodologies. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or Physics and familiarity with reactor physics and thermal hydraulics. This position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £52,500 along with various benefits, including a performance-related bonus and private medical insurance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in reactor physics and/or thermal hydraulics analysis is preferred.
  • Proficiency in tools required for core analysis methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical assessments.
  • Capability to implement advanced analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine neutronic and thermal-hydraulic models.
  • Deliver technical analysis across physics and thermal hydraulics disciplines.
  • Establish verification and validation requirements for core methods.
  • Contribute to environmental and safety assessments.

Education
