Are you a creative digital designer with a passion for crafting intuitive, user-focused experiences? GLL, the UK’s largest leisure and libraries operator, is looking for a Digital Product Designer to join our Marketing team on a one-year fixed-term contract.
In this role, you’ll help shape engaging digital products across web, app, and mobile, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders. From research to delivery, you’ll champion user needs, create high-quality design solutions, and contribute to a culture of customer-first design.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer and business problems.
Lead end-to-end design processes including research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
Deliver intuitive, accessible design solutions that balance user needs with business goals.
Conduct usability testing, workshops, interviews, and surveys to inform design decisions.
Present and communicate design concepts and rationale with clarity and confidence.
Support implementation with engineering teams, ensuring designs are feasible and high quality.
Review released products, evaluate performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Champion a user-centric design culture across the organisation.
3 to 5 years experience as an end-to-end product designer with a portfolio demonstrating UX and UI skills.
Strong UX research capability and ability to turn insights into actionable design outcomes.
Skilled in Figma, with expertise in design systems, libraries, and rapid design methods.
Experience designing for both web/SaaS products and native mobile apps (iOS/Android).
Strong grasp of accessibility and visual design principles.
Organised, collaborative, and confident in engaging stakeholders.
This position provides the option to work in-person at any of our UK locations, subject to role-specific requirements and availability.
