BCP Salary Band 8 - appointments will be made at the starting point of the salary range

37 hours per week Monday – Friday

52 weeks per year with annual leave entitlement

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Deputy Premises Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the School’s Operations Manager, Premises Manager and Caretaking team, and be responsible for deputising for the Premises Manager in their absence. Spending time at each of our campuses on a regular basis, you will also act as the first point of contact for the caretaking team, overseeing and prioritising their daily tasks related to health and safety, maintenance, cleaning, and security of the school’s buildings and grounds.

You will be an experienced line manager who is able to support members of the team to thrive in their roles. You will also be an effective communicator who is able to liaise effectively with the wider school leadership team to promote a safety culture and to ensure that our school environment is suitable for teaching and learning.

As Deputy Premises Manager, you will take a lead for planning, tasking and monitoring general maintenance activities; using IT systems to ensure the school’s compliance where servicing / inspections / certification is required. You will also take a lead on the contracting of cleaning services, waste management, equipment servicing and other arrangements to ensure we obtain value for money and that our contractors perform well.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to have access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the multi-campus working environment.
