A leading arts-based learning charity is seeking experienced Drama Facilitators to deliver teacher training for year 2 and 3 teachers in February 2026. Candidates should have a background in theatre, be able to create an inclusive environment, and possess strong guiding skills. This role involves rehearsing with the team and delivering structured training sessions. Interested applicants should submit their CV and a brief statement of interest via email by January 13th. Delight is seeking two experienced Drama Facilitators to deliver two days of teacher training for our Delight in Stories programme, to year 2 and 3 teachers.
Location
Mon 9th Feb: Rehearsal at Delight's office, Caterham, Surrey
Tues 10th Feb: Rehearsal at Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey
Wed 11th and Thur 12th Feb: Teacher training delivery at Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey
Approximately 7.5 hours per day with a 30 minute lunch break.
Salary £1,250 (including travel)
Delight in Stories is an in-school immersive storytelling adventure designed to spark children's imaginations as they find themselves in the role of 'the best storytellers in the world'. Through pre-recorded videos, props, costumes, and nature walks, an intriguing character named Walter Wellib t guides children to write and share their own stories to save St rilund. The programme empowers teachers to lead immersive storytelling experiences which helps schools embed a strong culture of reading and creative writing.
