A leading technology company in Manchester is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer to join their National Security team. In this role, you will research and build critical systems using secure coding practices. Candidates should have experience in C, C++, or C#, familiarity with Python, and an understanding of operating systems. This position offers the chance to work on technologies shaping national security and requires DV clearance eligibility.

As a Cyber Software Engineer, you will form part of a team that research, design and build critical systems that protect and support our National Security partner’s missions. You will employ secure coding practices to ensure and maintain quality of software delivery; whilst understanding and integrating with operating systems on a low level.

As a Cyber Software Engineer, it’s likely you’ll be naturally curious and have exposure to and expertise in operating systems, networking and network protocols and low-level systems development.

Clearances… Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
