Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in a cyber governance, risk, or compliance role.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security policies and procedures.
  • Experience engaging with senior management about cyber security goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee governance, risk, and compliance activities ensuring NHG’s data protection.
  • Define and maintain cyber security policies and procedures.
  • Lead cyber audits, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery oversight.

Skills

CISSP (or equivalent) qualification
Experience in cyber governance, risk, or compliance
Knowledge of ISO27001, NIST 800-53, Cyber Essentials Plus
Experience in vulnerability and risk management
Working knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA, and PCI-DSS
Engagement with security and threat intelligence networks

Education

Project management qualification (Prince2, Agile)
