Contract: Permanent

Hours: 17.5 hours (2.5 days) per week

Location: Remote with periodic days in London

Deadline: Thursday 8th January at 12pm

Interview Process : This will be an online interview on either Thursday 15th January or Friday 16th January.

The successful candidate will be required to attend an informal in person meeting prior to appointment.

We’re looking for someone to provide vital administrative support to our policy & campaigns function and across the organisation, facilitating strong engagement with our community of dementia carers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support for carer engagement, as required , across all teams in DCC.
  • Be the first point of contact for enquiries, managing incoming phone calls and generic inboxes for policy and campaigns, ensuring that enquiries are escalated efficiently.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of campaigns and community engagement activities.

Every year in the UK thousands of unpaid carers look after someone with dementia but receive little or no support. At Dementia Carers Count, we stand for them. We campaign for change and provide practical, emotional and financial support to dementia carers across the UK.

We’re looking for someone with a breadth of experience, who has a willingness to support others and learn new skills. The role can be based anywhere in the UK, with attendance at occasional in -person team meetings in London.

We are a small and remote multi­disciplinary team, committed to making a difference for carers and supporting each other.
