A media organization based in Manchester is looking for a Commercial Insight Apprentice. This role involves supporting data collection and analysis to aid the business. Candidates should be keen to learn about audiences and data, with a minimum requirement of Grade C (4) in Maths and English GCSE. The position combines office work with training, offering a comprehensive experience in a dynamic environment. A starting salary of £24,328 per annum is provided, alongside numerous benefits.

Our Apprenticeships are full‑time, with four days per week spent working in a C4 department and one day per week completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship. You’ll spend 60% of your working week in your office base and 40% working from home. The formal training provided will consist of workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and, in some cases, residential boot camps.

The Insight Business Partner Team work directly with stakeholders within Channel 4 to help them make better decisions using data and analysis. We work closely with the stakeholders to understand their goals and provide insights that guide strategy and performance. Our team turns information into clear, useful stories that help the business grow and improve.
This role sits in the commercial & distribution insight business partner team. Our primary objective is to use data and research to support the Channel 4 Sales team in selling advertising across our full ecosystem: linear TV, Streaming, and social platforms. This work is crucial for the business as advertising revenue funds the innovative programming Channel 4 is known for!

From September 2023, C4 has operated a 60/40 working pattern, equating to three office days per week.
Having everyone in the office three days a week gives us more opportunity to build our high‑performing, inclusive culture; to collaborate and to learn and share with each other, as well as helping to coordinate a regular pattern of home and office working days. Employees then have the flexibility to decide where they spend the rest of the working week. All our offices are open five days a week.
