  • Bachelor's degreein finance, business administration, accounting, or a similar field / orequivalent relevant finance or accounting experience in aconstruction-related industry.
  • Previous team leaderexperience in a project-based finance / accounting team within construction, infrastructure, or a similar industry.
  • Strong IT, Communication and Presentation Skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone in a projectmobilisation stage.

Accountabilities
  • In charge of the various internal project forecast reports, done on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • In charge of preparing the short- & medium-term planning as part of internal reporting requirements.
  • Take control of planned vs. actual cost, performance and results tracking in collaboration with Project Accounts, and Commercial Management teams.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance checking to company standards in line with the company’s internal directives, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide support and guidance to non-financial project stakeholders in relation to over-all project performance and results.
  • Assist in educating non-financial staff on financial processes and policies that needs to be followed.
  • Participate in asset management as a key stakeholder.
  • Provide supportive collaboration in the invoicing process towards the Client.
  • Preparation of standard internal project commercial controlling reports, planned vs. actual cost reports, asset and inventory reports.
  • Preparation of staff charge rates for proper cost allocation between cost centres, inter-project collaboration and external charge purposes.
  • Work with other Project / Business Unit / Subdivision Commercial Controllers to ensure robust site reporting and integrated reporting.
  • Preparation of bespoke financial and/or commercial controlling reports as requested by the Project Mgt. Team.
  • Provides back-up support to project accounting and other commercial teams as required.
  • Participate in internal and external financial audits and ensure proper close-out.
  • Closely coordinate with other commercial project teams like project accounts, procurement, QS, site stores, IT and office administration to ensure that internal controls, policies and guidelines are followed.
