Roota Engineering are recruiting for CNC Machinists, Miller’s and Turners on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Create, download, edit, archive, read and interpret CNC programs.
• Use CNC milling and or turning machines.
• Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
• Completion of all documentation and record labour bookings.
• Basic machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate tooling.
• Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate cutting & machining conditions.
• Good and demonstrable knowledge of using measuring equipment.
• Engage well with other Team Members.

Basic Hourly Rate: Salary circ.£45k to £55k dependent upon shift pattern and experience

Hours: 39 hours per week

Shift Details

• Days: Mon – Thurs 7:30 – 16:05 & Fri 07:30 – 13:30
• Nights: Mon – Weds 16:00 – 02:20 & Thu 16:00 – 01:20 (x1.5 premium applies for nights)
