A healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Claims and Inquest Assistant to support Claims Managers with legal claims and Inquests. Responsibilities include maintaining case documentation and updating the risk management system. The ideal candidate has a degree or equivalent, strong IT and communication skills, and recent experience in legal environments. The role offers an annual salary range of £37,259 to £45,356, dependent on experience.
To support the Claims and Inquest Managers across a portfolio of Inquests and legal claims. The Claims and Inquest Assistant will be the initial point of contact for all communications relating to Coroners' Inquests and Claims, and will activate the processes to ensure that each case is managed efficiently systematically through to completion andoutcome. The post holder will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and keeping up to date, and then closing, the Radar folder for each case within their remit. Responsibilities will include producing a complete file set for each Inquest and Claim as requested by the relevant Claims and Inquest Manager.o Claims support includes clinical litigation, employer and third party liability claims, andInquest support includes managing and preparing, inquests to conclusion.
