Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with stakeholders to define scope for BTS updates.
  • Filling gaps and verifying input data for BTS updates.
  • Leading update process, organizing meetings with stakeholders.

Skills

Knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering
Knowledge of reinforced concrete design
Understanding of Health and Safety regulations

Education

The activity involves starting from the HPC Books of Technical Specifications and updating them to become SZC-specific BTS documents, as part of our replication strategy.

Job Position:

Nuclear Civil Engineer

Key Information:
  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • 6 to 10 years of experience
  • Experience in the energy industry (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Offshore…)
  • Reinforced Concrete structure experience
  • Right to work in the UK

Location:

Bristol

Main Activities:
  • Liaising with all stakeholders to define the scope of the BTS update based on available information
  • Filling gaps and verifying input data and associated risks to properly update the BTS
  • Articulating with the SZC Project the Codes and Standards strategy for updates, considering the gap analysis
  • Updating and pre-distributing the BTS, managing comments, and ensuring all actions are completed to achieve code 1 status
  • Managing and leading the update process, organizing meetings and workshops with stakeholders
Key Relationships:
  • Members of the SZC civil program team
  • HPC Joint Design Office and HPC back-office teams
  • SZC Client organization
We are looking for:
