Salary: £12.44-12.64 per hour, plus mileage allowance and enhanced bank holiday rates.

Working Hours: Shift patterns: 7 am–3 pm and 3 pm–10 pm. All week or long days available.

Overview

This is a rewarding role for anyone wanting to support older vulnerable adults in their homes. We require compassion and empathy for our clients, and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients to relearn skills and regain independence in their own home.
  • Assist with personal care such as getting up in the morning, preparing for bed, shower or bath.
  • Help with dressing and undressing.
  • Prepare meals and snacks.
  • Domestic support, including laundry and other household cleaning.
  • Support with shopping and managing bills.
  • Provide warm, reliable companionship.
  • Assist with medication support (administration, verbal or physical assistance).
  • Assist with daily living and getting around.
  • Motivate clients to achieve personal goals.
Requirements
  • Compassion and empathy toward older people.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to undergo full training.
  • Flexible and reliable availability for the required shifts.
