Job summary

A leading home care provider in Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join their expert team. In this role, you will provide tailored care to clients, assist with personal tasks, and support their daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a kind demeanor, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. Training will be provided, and a supportive team environment is guaranteed. Qualifications

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not necessary, as full training will be provided.

  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Help with meal prepping and nutrition.
  • Support with medication and prescriptions.
  • Carry out light housework like tidying and cleaning.

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high‑quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
  • Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
  • Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
  • Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
  • Enhanced bank holiday rates

Requirements
