We are currently seeking a friendly, hardworking, conscientious individual to join our team as a Business & Technical Support Officer. The successful candidate will join a multi-skilled team providing business support to Planning, Planning Policy, Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Building Control. You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of technical and administrative duties, whilst providing excellent standards of customer service, with conflicting priorities and continual development. You will be part of a team of 4 Business & Technical Support Officers, who work on a rota system of Office and Working from Home (WFH), to enable office and phone cover until 5pm (Monday – Thursday) and 4.30pm on a Friday. Full training will be provided for this role, and you will be expected to work from the Office until your training has been satisfactorily completed.
Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.
As a Business & Technical Support Officer, you will have experience in working in a fast paced, busy office environment working with data management.
We welcome those with experience in office & clerical backgrounds.
