# **Our Privacy Statement & Cookie Policy****Business Development Manager, Food & Agriculture Events** **This hybrid position will be based in Canary Wharf, London.** We’re looking for a **Business Development Manager** to join **Reuters Events**, a fast-growing conferencing and events business within **Thomson Reuters**. You'll play a crucial role in partnering with clients and securing sponsorship packages on our international Food and Agriculture portfolio of events. **Reuters Events** combines Reuters' globally trusted brand, scale and editorial excellence with a leading portfolio of B2B events. We provide content-led conferences for professionals in a variety of specialized industry sectors including energy, pharmaceutical, automotive, insurance, finance and legal (to name a few!) to complement our extensive, in-depth business media content. We exist to deliver strategic business intelligence and foster the relationships that safeguards success at leading organisations worldwide. **About the Role** As a **Business Development Manager** at **Reuters Events** you will:**About You** You're a fit for the role of **Business Development Manager**, if you have:* Demonstrable experience of selling event sponsorships in a bespoke, consultative manner that focuses on delivering the outcomes our clients are seeking.* Excellent communication skills. We're looking for someone who's comfortable representing the Reuters brand when engaging with other industry-leading businesses. You'll be comfortable crafting engaging copy and written value propositions whilst building relationships with global C-level executives.* A collaborative attitude. We're team players at Reuters Events and are looking for someone who can succeed both individually and within a team-based environment.* The desire to progress and develop your skills further.
