A leading offshore engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced professional for business development in Light Well Intervention and Plug & Abandonment services. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities, engaging with clients, and collaborating with internal teams for project execution. A degree in Engineering or Business and experience in tendering are essential. This role not only involves building client relationships but also requires a strong technical understanding of subsea methodologies.

DOF are seeking a professional with experience in Light Well Intervention and/or Plug and Abandonment who is motivated by working closely with clients and contributing directly to business growth.
Support Service Line development by growing the Light Well Intervention and Plug & Abandonment business, providing market input across the sales funnel from business development, tendering, project execution, and development projects.
Develop and grow the Light Well Intervention and Plug & Abandonment business for the service line, identifying new opportunities and optimising existing ones
Work closely with the Service Line Manager and functional managers (BD, Tendering, Project Execution) to support service line objectives
Represent the company externally at client meetings, conferences, and industry forums to maintain visibility and market intelligence
Track market trends, competitor activity, and client requirements to inform service line strategy
Ensure cross-functional collaboration to maximise value capture and optimise delivery solutions
Tasks can include, but are not limited to:
Work collaboratively across functions to optimise opportunity capture and project delivery
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with DOF Group values, culture, and ethical standards
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and clarity in all client and internal interactions
Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across functions
The successful candidate will bring strong technical credibility from well operations, combined with commercial awareness and an interest in client-facing activities. The role involves spending time with clients to understand their needs, shaping opportunities, and supporting service line development across the sales funnel, from early engagement through to project execution and development initiatives.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys representing the company externally, building trusted relationships, and working collaboratively with internal teams to translate client requirements into practical, executable solutions.
