Premier Forest Products are currently recruiting a Bench Hand Joiner for our Joinery based at our Mon Timber Branch in Newport.

The workshop produces Bespoke Joinery on a number of new commercial developments, manufacturing reception desks, fitted bedroom furniture and other bespoke items. Past and present projects include the manufacture of interior joinery furniture for hotels, care homes, hospitals, schools etc.

What you will be doing…
For this role you must have previous experience within this or a similar role, additionally have a qualification in relation to wood occupations or be time served.

Daily duties will include:
• Working accurately from drawings to manufacture the above products; including operating various machines.
• Measuring and setting out product to assemble.
• Maintaining the woodworking machinery.
• Other tasks relating to the workshop.

• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work priorities.
