Job description
Bank Residential Support Worker - South Wales

Employer: Aspris

Location: South Wales

Salary: £12.60 - £13.00 per hour plus an average of £55 per sleep‑in (7 per month)

What the role looks like

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to young people and help with day‑to‑day activities such as getting washed, dressed and out to school. When working weekend shifts, you will be out of the home enjoying activities such as theme parks, bowling alleys, cinemas and zoos, making the job feel almost like play.

With the good times come challenging times, as our homes accommodate young people with autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. Our support workers form strong relationships and lasting memories that help the young people overcome difficulties and progress.

You will support children’s homes across South Wales, creating safe and nurturing spaces for them to thrive. Travelling to various homes is required – a full UK driving licence is essential.
