Job summary

A healthcare provider in Romford is seeking a Specialist Biomedical Scientist on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Haematology and blood transfusion. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Blood Sciences for a suitably qualified Specialist Biomedical Scientist on a 1 year fixed term contract. We are looking for a Specialist BMS with experience in Haematology to join our team.

You will join an excellent team providing an efficient and effective haematology service to 2 busy district general hospitals. Training opportunities will be provided to allow progression and specialisation within the profession.. Experience in Blood transfusion and working knowledge of Winpath LIMS, Sysmex EPU, Roche Infinity, EPR system, and experience of carrying outDoctors a wide range of Haematology tests will be an added advantage.

We operate a 24/7 service on both sites with out of hours on‑call. The Blood sciences department is looking to مقدم to a full shift system. Willingness to participate in out of hours working is Essential.
