Job summary

Assistant Site Supervisor – Full Time

North London-based

Permanent

£32,055 +7.5% Shift Allowance

We’re recruiting an Assistant Site Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy operational site. This is a hands-on role involving staff supervision, site standards, and public-facing responsibilities. Weekend working is required on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Supervisor with health & safety compliance and safe site operations
• Supervise staff and contractors, including rota and cover management when required
• Carry out daily site inspections, reporting, and incident logging using internal systems
• Oversee site operations, vehicle movements, and basic equipment checks
• Maintain high standards of site cleanliness and organisation
• Engage professionally with members of the public and clearly communicate site rules

Requirements

• Previous experience in a site-based or operational environment
• Confident dealing with the public and supervising teams
• Flexible to work across sites and weekends on a rota
• Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, internal systems)
• Willingness to undertake training (e.g. plant operation, First Aid)
• Driving licence desirable
