Role Overview

Assistant Catering Manager – positions based at Keppoch Campus and St Annes Primary. This role supports the expansion of Universal Free School Meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standard of catering provision, including preparation and cooking of food.
  • Support the Catering Manager to achieve performance targets and objectives.
  • Assist with relevant paperwork, Pecos ordering, and ongoing training & supervision of staff in all aspects of catering.
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and company policies.
  • Work flexibly and be prepared for transfers within a reasonable geographical distance of your base location.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen management.
  • Self‑motivated and able to support performance targets.
  • Membership in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential; candidate will cover the cost of the relevant check.
