Job summary

A leading assistive technology firm in Worcester seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Controller. Responsibilities include managing accounts operations, accounts receivable, and payroll while supporting month-end processes. Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication and teamwork skills required to assist with cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operations of the accounts, HR and administration functions.
  • Process and allocate bank payments.
  • Support month end processes including accruals and prepayments.

Skills

Understanding of double entry
Proven track record in finance and accounting roles
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Familiar with NetSuite ERP
AAT Level 2 or equivalent
Prior accounting experience in a SaaS business

Education

AAT Level 2 or equivalent
