Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Gillingham seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow in Critical Care for an 8-month contract. The successful candidate will work in a 24-bedded Critical Care department, providing care to critically ill patients while being part of an expert team. Qualifications

  • Wide experience in all areas of critical care practice.
  • Some understanding of principles of medical audit and willingness to participate in department audit projects.
  • Knowledge of being involved in research projects.

Responsibilities

  • Providing critical care services across the Critical Care areas.
  • Leading the critical care junior doctor and ACCP team.
  • Participating in clinical audit and quality improvement.

Skills

Practical experience with invasive procedures relevant to critical care medicine
Practical experience with central venous cannulation under ultrasound guidance
Willingness to participate in clinical research

Education

Basic Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
MRCP/MRCS
Valid ALS certification
Primary/Final FICM, EDIC, FRCA, MCEM or equivalent
