A lighting technical lead will be sent on a variety of sites to rig and support systems across the business. They will also be able to support projects from initial brief to onsite operation. In addition to onsite work they will also be able to specify draw and book everything needed to ensure an efficient and high-quality event. This role will report directly to the group head of lighting in the UK.

• Be compotent/comfortable in operation of at least 1 console family out of Avolites, ETC Eos or MA.
• Capable of basic fixture maintenance/repairs
• Some experience in using CAD design software such as Vectorworks, Capture, Wysiwyg or autocad
• Experience in working in teams and on their own onsite

The ideal candidate will either be able to demonstrate or have experience in dealing with a variety of production stakeholders, either designers producers or production managers.

• Understands the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.

• 2-3+ years of lighting experience is required.
• Safe and compliant fixture rigging
• Sufficient knowledge of DMX and simple network systems
• Appropriate knowledge of production power
• Experience working at height
• Ability to read and understand industry standard lighting plans/plots
• Basic understanding of rigging and rigging best practices
• Required compliance of all health and safety guideline.

Work for this role can be both office based and working onsite, often for extended periods of time. Physical requirements vary per onsite role but basic manual handling and working at height will often be required. Due consideration and reasonable measures can be taken.
