Job summary

A leading international construction firm is seeking a Contract Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. You will be responsible for monitoring contractual obligations and deliverables, drafting contracts, and managing claims. Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years site experience working autonomously and in teams.
  • Demonstrable experience in a typical QS skillset including contract administration.
  • Experience in major multi-million-pound construction or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor contractual obligations and rights.
  • Draft amendments, contractual letters, and notifications.
  • Maximise cash flow through control and measurement of work.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of major forms of contracts (NEC/FIDIC)
Contract administration skills
Proficiency in Excel
Communication in commercial and legal terminology
Experience in claims and disputes

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Civil Engineering or related field
