A leading design and build firm is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects that enhance water and wastewater treatment systems. You will be responsible for providing design support, collaborating with teams, and engaging with clients to ensure project success. A degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered Engineer status are required, along with strong problem-solving skills. Unit C is MMBC's most diverse unit: delivering a broad range of work spanning multiple clients, sectors and areas of expertise, via our three delivery models: JN Bentley, MMB and JBA Bentley. Today we have live contracts across 15 different clients and have identified opportunities with many more through existing frameworks or live tenders. We can only deliver this programme because of the adaptability and responsiveness of our teams.
Working within this unit you will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects for a diverse portfolio of clients - including the Environment Agency, Associated British Ports (ABP), Rolls Royce, Canal and River Trust, the Mining Remediation Authority, National Grid, Cadent Gas, P&G and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), as well as local authorities. These projects range from flood alleviation, water treatment and infrastructure construction, to industrial buildings and gas network upgrades.
As a Senior Civil Engineer you'll work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and our communities - enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater treatment systems.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the civil functions throughout the lifecycle of various projects. From concept design to commissioning, you will ensure that all civil aspects are meticulously considered and integrated.
