Omega Red is a specialist, design, installation, testing and maintenance contractor, within the electrical earthing, lightning protection and height safety market. Operating nationally, the business focuses on providing top quality safety‑critical services for the protection of people, buildings and infrastructure.
As a Fall Protection Engineer you will survey, test and install a variety of height safe equipment, possess excellent customer service skills in fulfilling the needs of our clients, work efficiently whilst upholding health and safety standards through proficient use of risk and method statements, assist with mentoring support operatives through their height safety training, be confident with installing height safety equipment, support with pre‑tender site surveys providing technical design input to the estimating team when needed, and be proficient in completing test and inspection reports detailing any further works needed for legislative compliance.
- Survey, test and install a variety of height safe equipment

- Confident with installing height safety equipment

- Experience within the height safety industry
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to travel and lodge away from home when required
- Valid full UK manual driving licence
- Self‑starter keen to get the job done
- Ability to use own initiative
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with installation, test and repair of height safety systems, including cable based fall protection systems, abseiling points, Davit Arms / sockets, guard rails, eye bolts and fixed ladders
