In this role, you’ll ensure our observability platforms run smoothly, support users in adopting best practices, and help teams get the most out of our tools. You’ll work closely with application teams, SREs, and platform engineers to drive maturity, resolve challenges, and deliver a seamless observability experience across the enterprise.If you’re a problem-solver who thrives on collaboration, enjoys fine-tuning systems, and loves helping others succeed, this role is for you.## ## **What You'll Be Doing*** **Support and enable users**—triage and resolve requests, guide teams in configuring and using observability tools effectively.* **Promote best practices**—review configurations for compliance, recommend improvements, and help teams mature their observability approach.* **Manage operational workflows**—own ServiceNow queues, Microsoft Teams communities, and distribution lists to keep communication clear and responsive.* **Drive adoption**—develop and maintain “how-to” documentation, self-service resources, and enablement materials that empower users.* **Ensure smooth migrations**—audit and migrate user setups to production environments with accuracy and minimal disruption.* **Collaborate across teams**—partner with platform engineers, lead observability engineers, and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.* **Respond when it matters**—participate in on-call rotations and incident bridge calls to support critical events.* **Support vendor solutions**—assist with code and integrations provided by SaaS vendors for on-prem and adjacent systems.## ## **What You'll Bring****Observability Platform Expertise** Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, BigPanda, or similar platforms, including configuration and troubleshooting.**Technical Problem-Solving** Strong diagnostic skills for resolving complex issues quickly and effectively.**Customer Enablement & Communication** Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users of varying skill levels and create resources that simplify adoption.**Operational Process Management** Experience managing ITSM workflows (e.g., ServiceNow) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).**Compliance & Best Practices** Familiarity with observability standards, telemetry concepts, and configuration audits.**Collaboration & Teamwork** Proven ability to work across engineering, operations, and application teams to achieve shared goals.## ## **Qualifications****Required*** 3+ years supporting observability platforms or similar enterprise systems.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).* Understanding of observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces) and best practices.* Ability to develop user documentation and self-service resources.**Preferred*** Experience with tools like Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, BigPanda, or similar.* Exposure to incident management processes and on-call participation.* Knowledge of scripting or automation for configuration and migrations.## ## **Our People**People are at the heart of what we do and drive the success of our business.
