Job summary
A leading fresh produce supplier in Northamptonshire is seeking a Quality Controller to enhance their product quality team during a period of growth. The successful candidate will work with a QC team to ensure that products are inspected upon intake and meet high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include team communication about product rotation and ensuring a safe working environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in Quality Control and knowledge of fresh produce, particularly grapes, and will work effectively both in a team and independently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance.
- Fresh Produce knowledge, particularly with Grapes.
- Capable team player who can make decisions.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside QC team to check product quality.
- Communicate with departments on product usage.
- Manage team standards and ensure safe working conditions.
Skills
A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce supplier, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking a Quality Controller to strengthen their product quality team at an exciting time of expansion.
Reporting to the QA Manager, the successful Quality Controller will work alongside a QC team to ensure all product is checked on Intake and approved to the highest quality standards, meeting customer expectations. This is a key role communicating between departments on product usage and rotation, managing the team to ensure all standards are met & logged appropriately adhering to customer expectations / requirements and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Previous experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance
- Fresh Produce knowledge, with exposure to Fruit ideally Grapes
- Team player, confident to make decisions and work alone when required
- Ability to communicate at all levels
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: c£30k
