Part Time Personal Care Assistant in Bolton
Job summary
A care support organization in Bolton is seeking a Part Time Personal Care Assistant to help a wheelchair user with personal care and domestic tasks. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. The role requires flexible hours across mornings, afternoons, and evenings with a starting pay of £13 per hour.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage moving and handling tasks with direction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, washing, dressing, and getting up.
- Help with domestic tasks including cleaning and laundry.
- Prepare meals during afternoon shifts.
Personal assistant / carer required to join the support team for a wheelchair user with a Spinal Cord Injury. Part‑time permanent position. No experience necessary. Days and hours to be agreed within a rota with other assistants.
Mornings: 2 hours between 8 am and 11am to help with personal care, washing, dressing and getting up. Also some domestic tasks including cleaning and laundry.
Afternoons: 4.30pm to 6pm to help with domestic tasks and preparing a meal.
Evenings: 9pm to 10.30pm to help with personal care and going to bed.
You will need to be able to manage moving and handling tasks with the direction of the client but you do not need experience in care, as training will be provided.
Rate of pay from £13 per hour dependent upon experience.
