A leading NHS organisation in the UK is seeking a Mechanical Estates Officer responsible for managing the maintenance and compliance of all mechanical services across the Trust. The role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in HVAC systems. Responsibilities include managing installations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and performing site inspections. Applicants should possess a relevant degree or an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering alongside experience in project management and technical expertise.
Insight Executive Group are supporting an NHS organisation in the North West to appoint a Mechanical Estates Officer.
The Mechanical Estates Officer will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and statutory compliance of all mechanical building services across an NHS Trust. This includes heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), hot and cold water systems, medical gases, drainage, and associated plant and equipment.
The role provides specialist technical expertise, ensures compliance with relevant legislation and guidance (including HTM and HBN standards), oversees planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, and delivers high‑quality estates support to both clinical and non‑clinical services.
