Hotel Services Worker post to cover Glanrhyd and Community sites with a range of multi tasks including Cleaning, Catering, Driving/ Portering, Linen and Refuse.
Must hold a Full UK Driving licence.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn’t mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. The base for this post is Glanrhyd Hospital, but the successful candidate must be flexible to cover Glanrhyd community sites within Bridgend Locality.
30 hours per week on 2 week rota covering weekends, times discussed at interview.
Shift times will vary, depending on area of work if covering other areas with in Glanrhyd community sites.
The Hotel Services Worker post covers all disciplines within the Facilities department, including Cleaning, Catering, Portering, Driving, Laundry, Light haulage and Refuse. Experience in these disciplines would be advantageous, although not essential.
We expect full flexibility in the successful candidate to be able to cover Glanrhyd, Hospital and the Community sites within Bridgend locality.
