Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an EC&I Engineer for a permanent position in Northampton. The role involves ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems on a fuel terminal. Type: Permanent
To ensure the ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical, control and instrumentation systems on a lower-tier COMAH fuel terminal. The EC&I Engineer will maintain and improve site systems to meet statutory requirements, company standards, and operational needs, while supporting safe fuel import and export operations.
- Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on EC&I systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in electrical distribution, instrumentation, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Maintain site UPS, generators, level gauging, and overfill protection systems.
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or advanced technical apprenticeship in electrical and/or instrumentation engineering maintenance.
- Experience in heavy industry.
