Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mechanical Assistant to support production in various technical tasks. Key responsibilities include mechanical assistance for equipment setup, maintenance, and tool preparation. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in injection and/or blow-molding plastics manufacturing, with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision and good communication skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in injection and/or blow-molding plastics manufacturing.
- Able to read and communicate in English.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical assistance for production tools and equipment.
- Conduct lock-out tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
- Assist with preparation of moulds and tooling equipment.
