In this role, you will carry out maintenance and installation of engineering services, plant, and equipment within a manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment effectiveness and availability, supporting our production teams to achieve performance targets.**Key Responsibilities*** Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.* Ensure compliance with safety standards and company EHS policies.* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen events.* Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and major repairs.* Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and maintenance history.* Provide operational cover for shift engineers when required.**What We’re Looking For*** Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with experience in a manufacturing setting.* Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot engineering systems.* Knowledge of CMMS platforms and lean manufacturing principles.* Completed mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent.* HNC/HND qualification desirable.* Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding is a plus.* IPAF & FLT training desirable.**Benefits:** 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays) & holiday purchase scheme Life Assurance 6x annual salary Critical illness coverHealth and Dental Cash Plans Pension contribution up to 10% Enhanced parental leave Great discounts on local retailers and restaurants Fantastic Health & Wellbeing package including an Employee Assistance Cycle to work scheme Plus many more**Equal Opportunity Employer***Aliaxis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer who welcomes candidates and employees from all backgrounds.
