Job summary
A leading industrial machinery company in Southampton is seeking an Account Manager to develop customer relationships and drive sales for construction machinery. Candidates must have knowledge of the local market and relevant educational qualifications. Responsibilities include maintaining client databases, identifying business opportunities, and participating in negotiations. Driving license required. This is a full-time position.

- Visit end customers and companies, establish, maintain and update customer files in the database system
- Develop public relations, build and maintain reliable relationships with clients
- Spot business opportunities and follow up with orders
- Collect project information, promote sales, and analyze competitor information
- Develop sales and implementation plans and achieve sales targets
- Participate in commercial negotiations for key projects to meet regional business objectives
- Support financing and collections work
- Familiar with the local market; knowledge of construction machinery is preferred (e.g., Excavator, Mobile Crane, Concrete, Tower Crane, Forklift, Foundation, Aerial Work Machinery, Mining)
- Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree or above in marketing, mechanical/electrical engineering, international business, English or related field
- Coordination skills with leasing is preferred
- Sense of responsibility and good communication skills
- Driving license required
