Ideal candidates will have a strong PQE background and enjoy significant client interaction within a collaborative environment.
Broadfield UK (formerly BDB Pitmans) is a law firm serving mid-market clients, with expertise across multiple practice areas and a strong commitment to client service. The team comprises entrepreneurial experts and leaders who provide tailored legal strategies and solutions. With offices in London, Cambridge, Reading, and Southampton, Broadfield UK employs over 420 professionals dedicated to building lasting client relationships grounded in trust and integrity. In 2024, Broadfield UK became a founding member of Broadfield.
Our Corporate & Commercial team works across various sectors on corporate transactions and non-transactional corporate matters. They advise UK and international clients, including start-ups/scale-ups, SMEs, institutionally owned companies, international/global clients, and listed companies. Many team members come from large city firms, sharing a culture that is friendly and collegiate.
This role involves working in the corporate team, advising on all aspects of company law, including private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, MBOs and MBIs, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, constitutional documents, demergers, reconstructions, reorganisations, AIM flotations, takeovers, public company work, commercial lending, security, and refinancing.
The team acts for acquirers, private equity and VCT funds, founders, management teams, and funders. Historically, the team has handled prominent deals in the Solent and Thames Valley regions. The role is suitable for candidates relocating to the region, lateral movers from larger firms, or those interested in working on larger transactions within a larger firm.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on significant transactions within a high-performing, close-knit team, but also values autonomy in leading transactions.
