Senior Technical Pricing Manager - Insurance Growth
Job summary
A leading UK insurance company is seeking a Technical Pricing Manager to lead the pricing strategy for home and pet insurance. This role involves developing and executing pricing models aligned with commercial goals, while ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in technical pricing within general insurance and strong leadership skills. You will work collaboratively across departments to support customer acquisition and retention efforts, making an impactful commercial contribution.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a technical pricing or actuarial role within general insurance.
- Proven hands-on expertise in developing end-to-end risk and pricing models.
- Deep understanding of statistical modelling (GLMs, GBM).
- Solid understanding of insurance underwriting and risk modelling.
- Proven ability to communicate complex pricing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute pricing strategies aligning with commercial goals.
- Build, refine, and maintain robust pricing models and tools.
- Drive pricing initiatives from conception to delivery.
- Monitor and respond to pricing performance KPIs.
- Mentor and support pricing analysts and specialists.
