Senior Software Engineer – Healthcare Tech (Remote UK)
Job summary
A leading healthcare technology provider is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team in the United Kingdom. This position involves designing and developing software solutions that improve healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in C#, .Net Core, and RESTful APIs, along with a solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Qualifications
- Proven solid proficiency in C#, .Net Core, and MVC.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Proven solid front-end skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Demonstrated familiarity with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based deployments.
- Proficiency with MySQL and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Proven understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, Git/GitHub, and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements.
- Building and maintaining C#/.Net applications using best practices.
- Developing RESTful APIs for integration with systems.
- Optimising application performance and conducting code reviews.
- Supporting DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated deployments.
- Troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and healthcare IT trends.
- Mentoring junior team members.
