A leading law firm is looking for a Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer to join their Complex Property team. This role involves handling significant property insurance claims and requires strong analytical skills and client relationship management. Candidates should be qualified solicitors or CILEX Lawyers with at least six months of relevant experience. The “Complex Property” team is part of the wider “Property” service line, which in turn sits within the firm’s “Claims Solutions Group”. The team acts for a large number of insurer clients, undertaking some of their highest value, highest profile and most challenging work. We are currently looking for new colleagues to join us either on a permanent basis or fixed term contract for 12 months.
The work falls into three broad categories: (i) subrogated recovery claims (typically over £250,000); (ii) defendant public liability property damage claims; and (iii) policy coverage both advisory work and disputes. In short, the team deals with disputes and problems arising out of fires, floods, storms, escapes of water, escapes of oil, explosions, impact damage (basically any way in which a property might become damaged).
We are currently looking for 2 new colleagues, one being permanent and one being a 12 month fixed term contract. The team will consider applications Nationwide.
