As an advisory board member you could be part of our ground-breaking mission to offer young people access to brilliant high quality music.

We want an advisory board that can help us to:

Raise our profile - locally, nationally and internationally

Develop our streams of income - from a range of sources

Embed equality, diversity and inclusion in all our work

We are looking to develop the following areas: business and finance, marketing and comms, human resources, education, fundraising.

We aim to create an advisory board that is reflective of a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. We actively encourage people from a variety of backgrounds to apply. We especially welcome applicants who identify as neurodivergent, disabled, Black, Asian, ethnically diverse and LGBTQ+.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis - there is no set deadline.

Job Requirements

• Participation in an annual away day
• Attendance at board meetings, online four times a year
• Consultation on strategic documents
• Advocacy for Little Seeds Music
• Being an ambassador for the organisation

Total time commitment not to exceed one day per month.

Little Seeds Music inspires young people and families through music and creativity. Founded in 2020, we create high-quality, inclusive musical experiences supported by Arts Council England and partners including Manchester International Festival, Half Moon Theatre, and The Story Museum. Our shows, gigs, workshops, and games spark creativity nationwide — with Cinderella Ice Cream Seller shortlisted for Best Children’s Show at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe.
