Overview
  • National Loss Adjusting operation are seeking an additional Environmental Loss Adjuster within their Loss Adjusting Division to manage a portfolio of environmental losses.
  • The team currently consists of 16 adjusters nationally and are ideally seeking an individual living south of Birmingham down to the South Coast.
  • The geographical area of coverage will then be determined depending where the individual lives.
  • Working from a home base you will typically carry a caseload of around 50-60 losses for domestic and commercial escape of oil claims.
  • Depending on experience you may also deal with pollution related claims.
  • You will be expected to apply your technical expertise to proactively investigate environmental claims, ensuring full compliance with prevailing client requirements and service standards while delivering exceptional customer service at every stage.
  • The role involves assessing policy liability and quantifying losses, gathering and analysing evidence to support your recommendations.
  • All investigations must be conducted promptly and in strict accordance with client specifications and regulatory obligations.
Applicant Requirements
  • Candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate their experience dealing with environmental claims, but would not rule out either an adjuster or complex liability handler looking to move into Environmental claims.
  • You must have excellent communication skills and a high degree of IT competency.
  • You will ideally be progressing with professional qualifications such as DipCII or DipCILA.
  • Basic salary up to £60,000 plus car allowance, bonus, pension and 25 days holiday.
