About the Role –We are seeking an Apprentice Civil Technician to join the Fairhurst team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your careers in a supportive environment under the guidance of experienced directors, technical managers, engineers and technicians. As you progress and gain experience you can expect to be active on a number of projects and with a number of clients at any given time.
The Modern Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering will run over a three year period during which time you will undertake a supervised programme of training and college day release which can lead to Technician Member Technician (EngTech) Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineer (ICE).
As an apprentice Civil technician you will be working in a team of engineers and technicians supporting the delivery of engineering design work associated with the construction of permanent roads, energy and comercial projects. Duties may include:
